Vanessa Williams speaks to ET!

Just moments after I posted the last post with all the conflicting reports of Lindsay’s time on the set of Ugly Betty, Vanessa Williams spoke out to ET about her time with our favorite diva on the set. According to Vanessa – Lindsay was “A hard worker, she showed up on time, she knew her lines, and in the scenes I had with her,s he was completely prepared. She was great with me!”

She added that the cast took Lindsay out to lunch, and for the premiere party, Lindsay was part of the cast, and that it’s simply the way the media is, to perpetuate rumors and outright untruths on a regular basis. She finished with “And I got to fire her in the end, so…”

IN other news – while Lindsay and Samantha were in Tokyo, Sam and Charlotte’s mom, Ann Dexter-Jones, had some things to say about the relationship between her daughter and Lindsay as she walked the red carpet at Chanel. She made sure to point out that they’re a cute couple, and speak with pride about Samantha and how grounded and real she is. “I just think if my daughter is happy, I’m happy.”

When asked about the media’s attention, she added that it makes it very hard, just as it would for anyone else. “Can’t you have a good old bonding with your other half and nobody cares?” She’s sure that Samantha can handle it though, even while it concerns her as a mother to see them get hounded.

What does she like to do with the ladies? Just kick back in her new place. Despite the fact that it has only three uncomfortable chairs, the girls come over and hang out for hours. “That means you are having a good time!”

It seems Lindsay and Samantha are secure in the loving support from the entire Ronson family, and it’s clearly doing wonders for Lindsay’s state of mind!
